Registering to Vote

For the most up-to-date information on registering to vote in Wisconsin, please visit the Wisconsin Election Commission website.

If you prefer to register in-person you can register in-person in at the Waterford Village Hall up until the Friday before election day or at the polling place on Election Day.  Just remember to bring your Proof of Residence with you.  If your driver license has your current address on it, that's all you need.  If you have not updated your driver license see a list of possible documents below (must have current address on document):

Partial List of Qualified Proof of Residence Documents

  • State of WI Driver License or State of WI Identification Card
  • Utility Bill (gas, electric, water, phone, cable)
  • Bank or Credit Union Statement
  • Credit Card Statement
  • Real Estate Tax Bill or receipt
  • Employment Paycheck or Paystub
  • Residential Lease (Not valid when registering by mail)
  • Check or other document issued by a unit of government
  • ID Card Issued by Employer
