Voting ID

Election Day

All residents of the Village of Waterford vote in the lower level of Village Hall, 123 N. River Street. The polls are open from 7:00am - 8:00pm (note: If your house number is more than three numbers long, you are not a Village of Waterford resident. You are most likely a Town of Waterford resident and should vote at the Town Hall.)

Early Voting

Early voting always starts on the Tuesday, 2 weeks prior to election day.  Voting hours are;  Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 4:00 pm and Friday, 8:30am - 12:00pm. There is no voting or voter registration on the Monday before an election.

Voter ID

Voter ID is now the law. The Government Accountability Board (GAB) oversees Wisconsin elections and has prepared a Bring It to the Ballot: Voting in Wisconsin and the Voter Photo Identification Law. This guide includes details on the new Voter ID - acceptable identification and how to get a free Wisconsin photo ID if you don't have one. it also explains absentee voting, voter registration, eligibility, proof of residency requirements and answers many questions you may have about voting.
